These new Nutcracker style switch openers from Gateron are an innovative design that won't damage cherry mx style switches when opening them. They will not work on kailh latch/ktt winglatch, etc. style switches, only the 4 prong style switches found on cherry, gateron, jwk/durock, ttc, etc.
